ID: 66178391 Shift: 12 hour nights; 6:00PM-6:30AM Description: Client:40 bed LTC facility serving long term care and skilled care residents. No memory support residents are at this facility. They average 34 residents. LocationGroup:Traveler will need to have reliable transportation to the assignment as there is not public transportation available in Lemmon, SD, such as Uber or Lyft. Lemmon, SD has a grocery store (Lemmon IGA), Family Dollar, Dollar General, Red Barn Bakery, Flower Box and The Daily Grind, and Romancin the Range Boutique. The closest Wal-Mart would be 90 miles away. For housing, the facility does have spacious apartments available for rent (bill rate reduced by $8.00 per hour) on the second floor of the facility with bedroom, living area, and bathroom. Travelers will also have access to do their laundry at no charge. Additional housing available at Dakota Lodge (will accepts pets) or contact MSP Account Manager for Air BNB referral. Location:Travelers may purchase meal tickets from the kitchen for $3-$4 per meal. There is a staff break room with a fridge available for traveler lunches, as well as an area with lockers for staff belongings. Travelers should park in the back, then may park in the front if the back parking lot is full. Department:Facility has North Hallway and West Hallway. North Hallway is the hallway closest to the kitchen and has 14 residents, with a mix of private and double rooms. The West Hallway is the hallway closest to the dining room and has 22 residents. EMR is Point Click Care and utilize iPads for charting, utilize bubble packs for medication distribution. They utilize radios for communication. Each resident has a care plan hanging in their room. Day shift: 1 RN, 1 Med Aide, 3 CNA, Bath Aide, and Restorative Care; Evening Shift: 1 RN, 1 Med Aide (until 5:30pm), and 3 CNA; Night Shift: 1 RN, 1 CNA. Specialty Profile:Minimum of 2 years experience working as an RN in a Long Term Care setting required. Residents are broken into three groups and staff rotate groups. RN will need to be experienced with starting IVs and administering lab draws. Requirements: Licensed as an RN in the State of South Dakota, or Compact State and active BLS issued by American Heart Association are required. Shifts: Will be working 12 hour shifts; 6:00AM-6:30PM or 6:00PM-6:30AM. Will work every other weekend. Schedule is posted 4 weeks at a time. Dress Code: Any color of professional scrubs. No other facility names or logos are permitted. No vibrant hair colors permitted, tattoos must be tasteful or be fully covered, and will permit a tiny nose stud or nose ring. Nails must be an appropriate length. Orientation: Will accommodate any day. They will go through a checklist with traveler to ensure training on all items within the facility.
