Pinnacle Emergency Medicine

Pinnacle is committed to reducing health disparities by supplying skilled emergency medicine physicians and advanced practice providers to tribal and critical access hospitals, ensuring top-tier care for all patients.

Our History

Pinnacle Emergency Medical Group, founded by emergency physicians dedicated to enhancing emergency care in Native American and rural communities, has a strong legacy of serving tribal IHS communities. Recognizing the critical shortage of reliable emergency clinicians in reservation hospitals, they navigated bureaucratic barriers to connect qualified physicians with hospitals in need.

In 2017, Pinnacle began staffing their inaugural partner hospital, providing comprehensive emergency services and successfully covering all scheduled shifts. By 2019, they expanded to include four Indian Health Service (IHS) hospitals.

In 2020, Arc Health acquired Pinnacle, expanding their service capabilities to include outpatient and inpatient care. This collaboration empowered Pinnacle to recruit and retain uniquely skilled providers committed to underserved communities.
