MD/DO - Physician/Family Medicine
Arc Health is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician to serve in the Outpatient Department of a critical access Tribal hospital located on the Navajo Indian Reservation. This is a full-time locum tenens opportunity to provide impactful care in a culturally rich and rewarding environment.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Location: Navajo Health Foundation – Sage Memorial Hospital
- EMR System: MediTech
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive ambulatory and inpatient care to a diverse patient population.
- Participate in health care planning, disease prevention, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to medical staff bylaws and clinical privilege requirements, maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Serve as a leader in fostering excellence, collaboration, and morale within the healthcare team.
- Engage in medical staff executive committee activities and support organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
- Residency in Family Practice and Board Certification in Family Medicine.
- Active Arizona medical license and Arizona DEA.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Commitment to continuing medical education (CME).
