The health center is located within the Grand Ronde Community, a 16-square-mile area owned by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. Situated approximately 30 miles west of Salem, Oregon, the facility primarily serves local Tribal members. The center is strategically positioned near several referral hospitals, including Willamette Valley Hospital, just 25 miles away with 60 beds, and Salem Health, 35 miles away with 494 beds. For specialized care, patients are referred to hospitals in Portland, Oregon, approximately 75 miles away.

- Must be certified by the American Board of Family Practice or another physician specialty board for primary care medicine.
- Must be BLS certified.
- Requires an M.D. or D.O. degree, and a license in the State of Oregon. Oregon state license preferred; however, candidates with other state licenses will also be considered.
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience in practice, not including completion of required family practice residency. Experience working with Tribal or Public Health Clinics preferred.
- OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Must respect all others, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or income level.
- Must be committed to providing comprehensive healthcare to individuals, families, and communities.
- Must possess a strong knowledge base of medical conditions and treatments.
- Must be able to perform office procedures, including both invasive and non-invasive minor surgeries.
- Must be able to complete patient visits and documentation in a reasonable amount of time, as determined by team-generated protocols.
- When required, must obtain appropriate medical consultation.
- Must maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures regarding privacy, access, and patient health information, in compliance with federal and state laws and healthcare organization’s information privacy practices.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to Native American culture is required.
